Alessandra Amoroso is going to come in Florence! Her concert will take Place on Friday 29th January to the Saschall in Florence! 200.000 copies has been sold and she won the double platinum award, too. On Tuesday 15th December at 9 pm Eros Ramazzotti will be finally on tour in Florence, at the Nelson Mandela Forum!A new album “Ali e Radici” composed by 11 new songs. It has a double musical view: besides Ramazzotti and Guidetti there is another genius of electronic: Michele Canova Lorfida. Comparing to the previous works, this one is much more concentrated on social topics like: the incommunicability among people, violence on the mankind and the rest of the nature. The lyrics reflect all the Ramazzotti walk of life, and also his artistic career. As a whole, the album Ali e Radici has international sounds, which range from the emphatic arches of “Parla con Me” to the overwhelming ones of “Appunti e Note”. The electronic adrenalin of “Non Possiamo Chiudere gli Occhi”, the six octave ballad “Il cammino” and the solemn R&B of “Controvento”, the rock accents of “Bucaneve”, “Ali e Radici” and of the lilting piano pop of “Affetti Personali”, the vigorous “Nessuno Escluso” and the classic pop of “Come Gioielli”.

The 4th edition of “International Movies Festival” will take place in Rome from 15th to 23rd October 2009! Many activities will include an immediate subdivision between movies in contest and previews; a lot of guests like Meryl Streep, Richard Gere, Helen Mirren and Stefania Sandrelli participate to a program with movies, flashbacks, meetings, events and concerts. The competition is composed by 14 movies, concerning the official selection: 3 of these movies are Italian productions: ”Alza la Testa” by Alessandro Angelini, ”L’uomo che verrà” by Giorgio Diritti and ”Viola di mare” by Donatella Maiorca. Some of the movies which are out of the competition- preview are: ”Julie & Julia” by Nora Ephron, the last film written by Coen brothers ”A Serious Man”, ”Le Concert” by Radu Mihaileanu, ”The City of Your Final Destination” by James Ivory. Italian movies are: ”Oggi sposi” by Luca Lucini and ”Christine Cristina” by Stefania Sandrelli.
The third edition of the greatest Italian festival is going to be in Florence. “50 Giorni di Cinema Internazionale a Firenze” : 9 international festivals will take place in the famous Odeon cinema, a deco-style building, which is located in the historical center of Florence. This spectacular event will start on Thursday 29th October and it will end on Friday 18th December. This edition promises to have a very wide program, with a lot of news about cinema: movie proposals, documentaries, previews, discussions, meetings with producers and actors.

From Saturday 19th September to Thursday 31st December you can’t really miss the exhibition “La città degli Uffizi: L’Oratorio di Santa Caterina all’Antella e i suoi pittori”. It is located in the magic Chianti shire landscape, not so far from the city of Florence. Art, tradition and culture are blend in a great project that promotes and increases the value of the Florentine area. It talks about itself through the great past masters and thanks to the current protagonists with a lot of suggestive tales and real facts of the history. This special event takes place in such a magic place: the Oratorio di Santa Caterina d’Alessandria nel Piviere dell’Antella! The oratory will show twelve masterpieces coming from Galleria degli Uffizi reserve, from the Museo dell’Opera di santa Croce, from the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Lucca, from the Museo d’Arte Sacra di Incisa Valdarno, and from private collections, too.
