Dario Fo, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997, in recent years has triggered a series of lectures representations dedicated to many great artists of all Italian art such as: Raphael, Leonardo, Mantegna, Caravaggio. This time, he’s decides to dedicate an entire show to Giotto as director, playwright and actor. During these years, in his virtual gallery of Master Celebrities, it couldn’t miss Giotto.
Giotto of Bondone (1267-1337)was a famous painter, architect, sculptor and was recognized as a great artist already by his contemporaries. Nowadays, he’s considered the greatest painter of Italian Gothic art civilization, which has renewed the figurative language. Dario Fo will show the entire life of Giotto, with the supporting of giant screens, which will screen all the masterpieces by Giotto. In addition, many original paintings and tables made from Fo will be in support of the narration.
